In June I received a piglet who had been dropped by an eagle along a highway and picked up by a couple who bottle fed her for a week. They fell in love with her and wanted her to have a life home. She was a newborn, with her umbilical cord still attatched.

She is here at the sanctuary now. She lived in the house with me to start, as many do, and she also had severe pneumonia at two weeks of age. I thought I was going to lose her. We were two sick girls with pneumonia together.

She was named "Riblet" by her rescuers and renamed Bunny here. Bunny is now 7 weeks old.

Oliver and Bunny are the best of friends and live in the yard by the house as they are younger and learning about life at the sanctuary. They have discovered the apple trees and the dropped apples everyday. They start each day with a race to see who can eat more of the apples that fell during the night.
