Hamilton clings to life
Winter 2010 When Hamilton arrived at the sanctuary he was immediately rushed to the veterinarian for emergency care. The pictures below were taken in the days after his arrival here. Hamilton was so weak from starvation that he was unable to drink milk. The injuries to his lips also prevented him from being able to form a suction on the nipple of a bottle. He had to be fed using a feeding tube down his throat. Hamilton is recovering and continues to heal and grow. More pictures showing his progress and his full story will be posted here soon.
